David Blansfield joins Arc as US CEO and Tim Hart appointed Group Chief Operating Officer

London, 02 July 2026 – Arc, the global events, data, and media platform, today announced the appointment of David Blansfield as US CEO. Arc has also appointed Tim Hart as Group Chief Operating Officer, a newly expanded role to accelerate Arc’s growth and execution of its strategy.

David brings more than 30 years of experience across events and marketing services in B2B markets. He joins Arc most recently from Northstar Travel Group, where he served as Executive Vice President for over a decade, leading growth initiatives and business portfolios across North America, Europe, and Asia. David has a strong track record working with businesses through periods of growth and transformation. He is passionate about product innovation and building high-performing teams and joins Arc at an exciting moment in its growth trajectory.

Alongside this appointment, Arc has appointed Tim Hart to Group Chief Operating Officer. Tim has been instrumental in building Arc’s US business since its inception and has long served as the lead of Arc’s M&A strategy, shaping the direction of the group through over nine acquisitions. In his expanded role, Tim will take on broader responsibility for group strategy, integration, and Growth Acceleration Plan (GAP) delivery, and will deepen his position as operating partner to Simon and the Executive Committee. He will also continue to work closely with David as a key strategic partner for the US business.
